Electronic signature
Electronic signature is a key step in validating legal documents. Alex's integrated signature module allows you to manage this process easily and in full compliance.
1. Integrated e-signature module
With Alex, sign your documents directly from the platform. The integration of electronic signature simplifies the finalisation of each document.
You choose the signature service, and you can set one as the default:
DocuSign, with your own account;
JeSignExpert, with your own account;
Yousign, with your own account or without one through “Yousign by Alex”.
2. Sending and tracking signatures
Send documents for signature and track their progress in real time. Automated tracking ensures you know at any moment where the process stands.
3. Managing reminders
From the tracking view, you can remind one signer or everyone who has not signed yet, and you can cancel a signature request.
4. Advanced signature (eIDAS)
The electronic signature offered by Alex is eIDAS-compliant, guaranteeing a high level of security and legal validity in Europe. Signatures are therefore secure, legal and recognised by the relevant authorities.
In France, electronic signatures are governed by several legal instruments, including:
eIDAS Regulation (EU n° 910/2014): It governs the recognition of electronic signatures in the EU, ensuring their legal validity in cross-border transactions.
Code civil, article 1367: It recognises electronic signatures as a legal means of authenticating a document, equivalent to a handwritten signature if it meets security requirements.
Décret n° 2001-272: It sets out the conditions for using electronic signatures, particularly regarding security and authentication of signatories.
Alex guarantees that the electronic signatures used comply with these standards and security requirements.
